Phyllis joined the Collision Revision team in 2001 and assumed the challenge of developing a Human Resource Department and bringing all those functions in-house. At that time, Collision Revision had twelve (12) operating facilities, three under construction and about 200 employees. Ten years later, there were twenty-seven (27) operating facilities and over 450 employees. One of the most rewarding projects she helped develop was the ‘New Employee Orientation’ which she facilitated for over seven years. Phyllis received her PHR – Professional in Human Resources certification in 2008.
In 2010 Phyllis moved completely to the CR Coatings and Logistics team as the Human Resources Manager. Since then, CR Coatings has expanded to three full shifts with over a 120 employees.
Phyllis has been an active volunteer member of GFWC – General Federation of Women’s Clubs [an international organization of volunteer women’s clubs] for the past thirty-three (33) years. She has served in various leadership roles on the local, district and state levels, having served on the State Board Directors since 1988. In 1992 she received the distinguished “GFWC Illinois Lifetime Achievement Award” for her years of volunteer service. Phyllis will serve GFWC Illinois on the Executive Committee, as the Northern Region Vice President for the 2012 – 2014 administration.
Phyllis has been actively involved with the Illinois Leadership Seminar for the past twenty years. The three day event is held annually for high school sophomore students and offers young leaders an environment of support, encouragement, diversity in leadership development.
Phyllis is also a Past President and a ten year member of BPW – Business and Professional Women’s Organization, and a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Course, where she received the ‘Outstanding Achievement Award’.
Phyllis and her husband reside in Coal City, Illinois. They have three married children and six (soon to be seven) grandchildren. She enjoys reading, playing cards, gardening and spending all available free time with her grandkids.
